TEAM 3171 HURRICANES · SEPTEMBER 2026

Help build the next generation.

Westhampton Beach High School · FIRST Robotics Competition Team 3171
Hurricane Robotics Booster Club

Dear friends and community partners,

We invite you to support Team 3171, the Westhampton Beach High School Hurricanes. Our students design, build, program, and compete with robots while learning how to solve problems together. Your support helps turn that experience into an opportunity students can carry into college, careers, and community life.

Robotics is more than a finished machine. Students practice mechanical design, programming, fabrication, electrical systems, and testing. They also learn to manage resources, communicate ideas, develop business plans, raise funds, and lead a team. Working alongside coaches and mentors, they learn to keep improving when an idea does not work the first time.

Sponsorship helps support robot materials and components, tools and safety equipment, competition participation, travel, and team operations. Individuals, families, local businesses, and major partners can all contribute. We also welcome conversations about materials, manufacturing services, meals, and professional expertise.

Our sponsorship levels range from Bronze at $1–$49 to The Hurricane at $3,000 and above. Recognition grows with each level and may include our website, team banner, social media, apparel, robot, and trailer, as described in the sponsorship guide. Benefits are cumulative; the booster club will confirm arrangements and timing with each sponsor.

To become a sponsor or arrange an individual contribution, email whb3171booster@gmail.com. Please include your name, organization if applicable, the kind of support you have in mind, and how you would like us to contact you. The booster club will provide current contribution instructions and answer documentation or receipt questions. We would also be glad to discuss an arranged workshop visit or a longer-term partnership.

Thank you for investing in local students and the skills they are building. Your support helps the Hurricanes create, learn, and compete together.

With appreciation,
Team 3171 Hurricanes & Hurricane Robotics Booster Club
